Pose by Pose Yoga is happy to now offer a special certification program giving you the tools you need to teach in foster homes in our community & beyond. The program will be infused with experienced yoga teachers and professionals who currently work in the field. The presentation will include a glimpse at Yoga and Trauma- the effects, the signs and techniques that aid in healing.
This program will include lecture, asana, interactive group activities and a special outing to give you first hand experience & knowledge of the foster system. You will learn to work with children in group homes. We will, as a group, take the time to reflect on what each of our individual passions are and develop vision on how to share this with our community.
This program is open to graduates of accredited yoga schools.

Gain the tools you need to teach in foster homes in our community and beyond. The program will be infused with experienced yoga teachers, mental health professionals, and those who have direct experience working in the field.
This program will include lecture, asana, interactive group activities and a special outing to give you first hand experience and knowledge of the foster system. You will learn to work with children and young adults. We will, as a group, visit a children’s foster home.
The program is open to graduates of accredited Yoga Alliance Programs and Pose by Pose Graduates who have completed part one of our Trauma Program, Yoga As Therapy: A Multidisciplinary Approach. If you are not sure you are eligible, please contact Jennifer.
